

General Terms and Conditions of Training
Article 1 : Generalities
Ecole de Management de Normandie is a Higher Education institution, formed as a not-for-profit association and registered with Préfecture de la Haute Normandie, under code number 23760421776. Its mission is to train young performing executives who will:
- Show initiative, and are prepared to lead change and manage projects,
- Be open to cross-cultural management, aware of Corporate Social Responsibility issues, and capable of becoming bona fide managers.
Article 2: Conditions for Registration
The final registration after unconditional admission has been offered, implies full and unreserved agreement with these general training conditions, with the exception of any other conditions. The registration of a candidate will only be effective once his/her application has been validated, and all administrative processing fees have been paid.
Article 3 : Mutual undertakings
Ecole de management de Normandie undertakes to :
- Reserve a place on the programme for the student selected on the training programme he/she has been admitted to, for all successive years the latter programme comprises;
- Deliver teaching input that corresponds to the academic regulations of the programme, handed out to, and signed by, the student on registration and available on the School portal;
- Offer a support scheme for internship search, whether in France or abroad, under the framework of the professional project, without however any obligation of result;
- Award the intended certification/diploma/degree once the award conditions, as described in the Academic Regulations, have been fulfilled by the student;
- Make available to students premises and equipment that are functional and adapted to the constraints of the training programmes.
The student undertakes to:
- Abide by all conditions and rules stipulated in Internal Regulations, as signed by the student on registration;
- Fulfil the obligation of attendance in class and at examinations, as well as all constraints in the programme as described in the Academic Regulations;
- Meet his/her undertaking to observe research modalities, internship/work placement acceptance and monitoring, as well as the country’s regulations;
- Pay in full tuition fees as per the instalment plan specified in the financial file;
- Respect the School’s image and reputation when outside campuses, in particular while on internship/work placement, or travelling.
Article 4: Tuition Fees
‘Droits de scolarité’ means tuition fees for each year of the programme. These fees correspond to a lump sum calculated for a full year, and thus cannot be revised when a course is cancelled, whatever the cause for cancellation. With respect to the student, Ecole de Management de Normandie undertakes to maintain for the entire duration of the study programme those tuition fees applicable at the time the contract was signed, except in case a year is to be re-taken. The deposit paid out will be deducted from the first invoice. Tuition fees do not include non-compulsory contributions such as: social security contributions, student society contributions, Alumni Network contribution.
Article 5: Settlement Scheme
Tuition fees are charged by one or several direct debits, by on-line transfer or cheque on receipt of the invoice. Any delay in payment will lead to penalties. The validation of the degree is subject to all tuition fees for the year having been settled.
Article 7: Conditions for re-taking a year
When a student does not fulfil the conditions for being awarded the degree, the Examination Board may decide he/she must re-take a year. Tuition fees will then be those for the new cohort the student will then join.
Article 8 : Interruption of studies
Article 8.1 : Discontinuance Deadline
Once a student has been offered admission and confirmed his/her registration, he/she may resign within 15 days after his/her deposit has been received. Beyond that limit, deposits will be retained by Ecole de Management de Normandie as a compensation, whatever the motive put forward except in the case of failure to acquire the required degree/diploma to be admitted into the training programmes, visa denial or funding by other party. In the latter cases, the student will have to forward to Ecole de Management de Normandie a copy of the supporting documents relevant to his/her situation, in order to obtain a refund of those deposits already paid out. In all cases, registration processing fees will be retained by Ecole de Management de Normandie.
Article 8.2: Interruption of studies once the discontinuance deadline mentioned in Article 8.1 has expired
The interruption of the study programme may occur:
- At the initiative of the Disciplinary Committee that has voted the exclusion of the student from the programme;
- At the initiative of the Programme’s administration, whenever the End of the Year Examination Board has decided the student should be re-oriented;
- At the initiative of the student, in case of an interruption of the study programme, for personal reasons. In this case, it is compulsory that a letter be sent to Ecole de Management de Normandie, whereby the student resigns from the programme.
Since Ecole de Management de Normandie has undertaken to keep a place for the student selected for the year in the programme in question, any year that has started in thus due in full, even in case of resignation or exclusion, as a compensation for early withdrawal.
Article 9 : Payment Incident
Any rejection by a bank, or delay in payment as concerns the payment schedule, will be considered as a payment incident. Any rejection by a bank will incur additional costs, especially charges by a banking institution. Accordingly, such costs will be in turn charged to the student. In the event of delay in payment, legal action will be initiated right away, unless written agreement has been obtained from the Financial Service at Ecole de Management de Normandie. All amounts outstanding will carry interest at the legal rate multiplied by five, under provision of Act n°2008-776 dated 4 August 2008. Penalties for delay are due without restriction, without any reminder or legal or extra-judicial proceedings being required.
Article 10 : Duration of contract
These training terms and conditions are agreed for the duration of the entire academic year. In the event the contract is translated into a foreign language, the original French version will prevail over any other version.
Article 11 : Applicable Law
This contract is governed by French Law. Information on the student’s studies will only be communicated to the funding party.
