Research Contracts and Expert Consulting

Research Contracts and Expert Consulting enable the School to enter into partnerships with businesses or communities and to bring them the expertise of lecturer-researchers on specific issues.

Research Contracts

Research Contracts between EM Normandie and its partners focus on a shared topic of interest. One or several parties (business, community) offers funding to researchers for them to carry out research in a specific field, as defined by the parties to the contract.

Example of a Research Contract: ARDECO

The ARDECO (ARchitecture de DEploiement de services pour les COllectivités locales) research contract was to develop a digital identity management platform, to deploy vicinity services and access to services on-line.
This contract required the set up of a consortium of several partners (Orange, TES Pole of Competitiveness, Dictao,). The following points were reviewed:

  • Innovation acceptance by citizens (respect of private life)
  • An innovation business model
  • The administration of the platform

Expert Consulting

Local and international businesses and other bodies commission the School's lecturer-researchers to carry out Expert Consulting Missions. They include consulting activities which cover a wide range of services (auditing and consulting, market studies, technological and scientific monioring…). The objective is to support you in handling a specific issue in your organisation.
