The Oxford Campus greets you in the historic centre of Oxford, near the world-famous university and just 80 km from London and its unparalleled financial district, the City of London.
Our Campus is located near the famous Oxford University, which is a bonanza for anyone who wants to acquire an international cultural orientation and take courses that are taught entirely in English.
The closeness to London and the City, London’s unparalleled financial district, further add to the reasons to open the Campus, where you will be welcomed at the premises of the City of Oxford College (Activate Learning), near to the Oxford’s historic centre.
As well as its lecture rooms, the Oxford Campus offers:
In order to give the best learning conditions to an ever-increasing number of students (180 registered for 2018-2019), the Oxford Campus is extending its premises by a further 200 m2. This extension is welcome as it has allowed setting up two more lecture rooms and a new catering area, the installation of a co-working area for students and an area for Student Societies.
I have been on the Oxford campus for three years and I obviously want to stay at Oxford because I find the teachers really interesting and I like the choice of Masters courses on offer. What I remember from my experience at Oxford is that the campus is like a small family. We all know each other and all the generations mix together. The living environment is pleasant to work in. All this French population is finally mixed with the English.
I adapted quite easily to the city. I had already been to London alone for a week in a youth hostel. Going on my own was not complicated for me. But indeed, I can understand that arriving alone in a foreign city in the first year without knowing anyone can, at first, take some time to adapt.
From the second day of my arrival, I met many people from EM Normandie on campus. I was therefore well accompanied and I was able to integrate quickly.
Don't hesitate to come to Oxford. The campus is within EM Normandie which is more reassuring than going to the end of the world, even if I think that some people are more adventurous than me. You don't feel lost because the universe remains centred around EM Normandie Business School.
Moreover, you meet a lot of English people during your expatriation. I think you should try to find a 100% English flatshare because you mainly meet French people on campus. This allows you to make a group of English friends and to discover the city with them.
Right from the start, at EM Normandie we are taught to take charge of our lives. We were trained very quickly in entrepreneurship and prepared for the professional world. At the end of the 4 years of training, we would all have a different degree because we would have chosen our own experiences, our associations, our expatriations, our internships... At the end of the course, each one of us would have a degree and would be in a position to take charge of his or her life.
Oxford is located in south-east England, just 80 km from London.
This city of 153,000 inhabitants is famous for its university, the oldest and most renowned in the English-speaking world. It was home to some of the greatest authors of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, including Oscar Wilde, JRR Tolkien, and Lewis Carroll. Today, 42,000 students study there in its various colleges and universities in an environment that is sure to nurture your own success.
The multiple activities on offer also make the city an attractive destination, with museums, boat trips, film sets (Harry Potter at Oxford University), cultural activities (theatres, cinemas, concerts, and more) as well as an active nightlife. It is also an ideal base from which to explore England and its varied landscapes.
