Jean Pralong is a Professor of Human Resource Management. He joined EM Normandie in 2018. He has a doctorate in management science from the Université de Paris-Nanterre, awarded in 2009. His thesis is on the careers of French managers. His research interests are careers and employability. They involve a critique of notions such as vocation, generation, project and character. Prior to his university career, he was a human resource management consultant and head of HR development.
