EM Normandie’s Institut de l’Innovation et du Développement de l’Entrepreneuriat (InsIDE) and Normandie Business Angels, a regional club of investors, are to sign a partnership agreement to foster the emergence and achievement of entrepreneurial projects among the School’s student community and alumni network.
This agreement organises an official matching pattern between students hosted by the School’s InsiDE Incubator and experienced financers, in order to help new start-ups blossom forth across the Normandy territory.
‘The search for funding is an essential step in the launching of a start-up. Thanks to Normandie Business Angels, our students will make the best of their time and strike up fruitful links with experienced entrepreneurs and investors. This is undoubtedly a genuine springboard to success for their projects in the Normandy territory. If we want to generate wealth and new employment opportunities, we must multiply the number of entrepreneurs’, explains InsIDE Director, Christophe Yver.
‘We are always very attracted to initiatives that promote entrepreneurship…and always interested in well qualified and supported projects. To select investment opportunities, we pay special attention to the competencies and attitude of the management. InsIDE was thus an obvious partner for us Business Angels. This is already achieved for a first project currently under way!’ remarks Gilles Rigon, the President of Normandie Business Angels Caen (formerly Norm’Angels).
