The Summer School is open to Undergraduate and Graduate students providing that applicants have the pre-requisites specified in the course’s syllabus.
For non-native English speakers: B2 (CEFR) or equivalent (TOEFL IBT 72, IELTS 5.0, TOEIC 750) is highly recommended.
For courses taught in French, the Summer School is open for non-native French speakers: B2 (DELF, TCF, etc.)

Charbel Salloum is an Associate Professor of Finance and an Academic Director at EM Normandie Business School in France. He holds an HDR from Lille University and a Ph.D. from Aix-Marseille 3. He joined the George Washington University (GWU) School of Business in the United States of America as a part-time faculty and a visiting professor for almost six years. He is a Fulbright Visiting Scholar alumnus. His research works revolve around corporate governance, entrepreneurship, CSR/CSiR, leadership and gender diversity. Despite his academic and research activities, he acts as a business consultant for family business firms in Europe and in the Middle East.
Yamen Koubaa is an Associate Professor of Marketing and International Affairs. He joined EM Normandie in 2019. He has a PhD in Marketing Science from the University of Marketing and Distribution Sciences, Ryūtsū Kagaku Daigaku, Japan, awarded in 2009 and HDR awared in 2022. His thesis is on the modelling of the decision-making process when purchasing hybrid products. His research interests are brand image, quantifying purchase decisions, the use of statistics as a tool in market research and olfactory marketing. He is Director of the Bachelor Programmes.
Joseph Omoloba is an Adjunct Lecturer in Business Entrepreneurship and in Principle of Management at ESAM Paris. He holds a PhD in Management Science from Hesam Université Paris in conjunction with CNAM. He joined EM Normandie in 2019 and gives classes in International Business Strategy, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and in Business growth. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the American Business School. His teaching interests are in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behaviour and International Business & Human Resources Management.
Mohammadali Vosooghidizaji is Assistant Professor in Supply Chain Management and joined EM Normandie in 2022. He holds a PhD in Management Sciences from Université de Le Havre Normandie obtained in 2021 and a master's degree in Industrial Management from IKIU Iran. His thesis is about supply chain coordination under information asymmetry. His research focuses on the application of quantitative approaches and CSR in supply chains.
Amandine Laré is Associate Professor in Social and Solidarity Economy. She joined EM Normandie in 2017. She has a PhD in economics from the Université de Rouen-Normandie, awarded in 2014. Her thesis is on the impact of improved access to water and sanitation on living conditions of households in developing countries from field studies in Mozambique, Togo, Mali and Burkina Faso. Her research interests are environmental economics, urban economics and social and solidarity economy. She focuses particularly on access to energy, water and sanitation; agricultural innovation; innovative solidarity funding; the practice of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility. She is also Head of the Head of Economics, Territories & Sustainable Development Department. For more than 15 years, she has carried out expert missions for international organizations in Africa.
Thanh Tam Nguyen-Huu is an Associate Professor of Economics. He joined EM Normandie in 2019. He has a PhD in economics from the Université Toulouse 1 Capitole, awarded in 2011. His thesis is on a new strategy in multinational companies- the direct foreign investment of export-platform and the impacts of this on the manufacturing industries in the host country. His research interests are International Business and sustainable development. He focuses specifically on the strategies of multinational companies, international mobility of production factors, optimum growth and the inequalities and performance of companies.
Mustafeed Zaman is an Associate Professor of Digital Marketing at EM Normandie Business School. He joined EM Normandie Business School in 2019. He has a PhD in Management Sciences from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Perpignan (France), awarded in 2018. His PhD thesis was on “Web Innovativeness and ICT Adoption in Tourism SMEs”. His area of specialization and research is Innovativeness, Digital Transformation, Marketing Strategy, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Information & Communication Technology, Technology Acceptance and Adoption, Digitalization of Services, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data and Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management. Dr. Zaman has received multiple distinctions such as “Academic Excellence Award” for Pedagogical Innovation from Fondation EM Normandie, France (2021); "Valedictorian / Top of the Class" from Excelia Group (La Rochelle Business School), France (2012); "Best Paper Award" at the 8th International Conference on Service Management from the Virginia Tech, USA (2015); and "Best PhD Thesis Award" in Tourism Management from French Tourism Research Association (AFMAT) (2019).
Josip Marić is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management and Decision Science. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in management science from the Université de Montpellier, awarded in 2018. His thesis is on sustainable development and digital transformation, with a specific focus on the implications of 3D printing technology. His research interests are Information Systems (IS), operations management, innovation and entrepreneurship. His research focuses mainly on digital technology, digital transformation, innovation and sustainable development.
Marko Marić is a civil engineer, entrepreneur, and a doctoral candidate at the Université Toulouse II (Toulouse, France). Narrow civil engineering expertise is confirmed through his Master of Science (MSc) degree and several years of industry experience in project designs, implementation and control in the field of Structural Engineering. Doctoral research, focusing on vernacular architecture/habitat, was started in 2019 in the field of Information and Communication Sciences at the Université Toulouse II LERASS (Laboratoire d’Etudes et de Recherches Appliquées en Sciences Sociales) institute, spanning the disciplines of Engineering, Architecture, and Social Sciences. Results of this research are presented on various scholar events and conferences.
Yihan Wang is an Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. He has a PhD in Administration (Specialist field: international business) from HEC Montreal, Canada, awarded in 2019. His thesis is an analysis of the Chinese aerospace industry.
His research and teaching areas are international strategy, innovation networks and regional development.
Yonathan Silvain Roten is a professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 2021. He has a PhD in Management Sciences from the Panthéon Sorbonne University awarded in 2019. His thesis is on the new practices of phygital interactions between consumers and sellers. His research and publications focus on screen sharing, as a shopping practice during a joint shopping journey, and as a selling practice during a service process. With an extensive international experience in management, he is the academic director of the Master 2 in Marketing Strategy and Business Development at the EM Normandie campus in Le Havre.
Olivier KOVARSKI is graduated from HEC Business School and holds a Doctorate of Business Administration from the University of Lyon III, Jean Moulin. After a position as assistant in the marketing department of HEC, he joined EM Normandie in 1998. Professor of Marketing, Programme Manager, then Director of the Deauville campus, then Director of Executive Education at EM Normandie, he is now MBA Academic Director. His main areas of expertise are Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Strategic Marketing and Services Marketing. Buzz Marketing is one of his main research areas, in particular how an event makes people talk positively about a brand.
Christophe Estay is the Academic & Research Director at FERRANDI Paris. He is a member of the LIRSA (CNAM, Paris), a research center focused on Strategy & Management. Principally in the field of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Leadership, his teaching is based on his own professional experience as a consultant and his recent research projects. In conjunction with this, he has published articles in different journals (Journal of Business Ethics, Finance Research Letters, Strategic Change, etc.). Over the last decade, he has developed a large professional and academic network in the world, especially in the USA and in Africa.
Muriel Durand is an Associate Professor of Cross-Cultural Management. She joined EM Normandie in 2019. She has a PhD in management science, International Business & Social Sciences from Aarhus University, Denmark, awarded in 2018. Her thesis is on intercultural management in the case of international mergers & acquisitions. Her research interest is the effects of the perception of cultural differences on managerial attitudes in international mergers & acquisition processes. She is the Academic Director of the DBA program.
Nabil Ghantous is a Professor of Marketing. He joined EM Normandie in 2020 following several years of academic experience in Qatar, France and Vietnam as a lecturer, researcher and director of programmes. Nabil has a PhD in management science with a marketing specialism, awarded in 2010 from the Université Aix-Marseille III. His thesis covers the impact of interaction intensity on the dynamics of a brand. His research interests include entrepreneurial marketing issues, franchising networks, international marketing and brand management.
David Moroz is an Associate Professor of Economics. He joined EM Normandie in 2020. Il has a PhD in economics, awarded in 2003 by the Université de Reims Champagne-Ardenne. He wrote his thesis on the issues related to defining property rights to the human genome. His research interests are understanding the dynamics of cultural change with a particular focus on alternative investment markets. His articles analyse the foundations of reputation in the alcoholic beverages market, namely spirits.
Christine Fournès is an Associate Professor of Finance and Accounting. She joined EM Normandie in 2015. She has a PhD in management science from the Université de Nantes, awarded in 2012. Her thesis is on the emergence of auditors from the French Commercial Code 1807 to the 1966 law. Her main research interests are the history of auditing and accounting practices and management control and innovation.
Fluently bilingual, culturally diverse and a lifelong learner, Maryse’s distinctive academic and professional trajectory has taken her from architecture to project management to currently pursuing a PhD in leadership. This unique blend gives her the ability to navigate with agility from abstract ideas to tangible results, to see issues from a bird’s eye view to the minute details to plan, implement and execute. Her unique background coupled with diverse experience give her a cross cultural sensitivity, knowledge and deep understanding of the human spirit to unlock potential.
