EM Normandie obtains AMBA accreditation for its Master in Management and now holds the triple crown

Rankings

EM Normandie has been awarded the international AMBA accreditation for its Master in Management, for the maximum duration of 5 years. Already holding AACSB* accreditation since 2014 and EQUIS* since 2016, EM Normandie enters, with this new distinction, the very restricted circle of triple-accredited business schools. Indeed, less than 1% of the world's business schools and only 18 Grandes Écoles in France hold the famous triple crown. This is an undeniable advantage for EM Normandie students and graduates.

AMBA, a guarantee of academic and professional excellence

The British organisation AMBA (Association of MBA's) evaluates programmes according to precise criteria which guarantee their academic excellence and strong links with the professional world (governance, pedagogical quality, professionalisation, employability). It accredits MBAs (Master of Business Administration), Doctorates in Business Administration (DBA) and Masters in Business and Management (MBM). With the award of the AMBA for its Master in Management (MBM), EM Normandie becomes the 26th Grande École of Business to hold this distinction in France.

The EM Normandie Master in Management is ranked in the Top 3 of post-baccalaureate programmes in several French rankings and is also in the Financial Times and QS's Top 100 of the best Masters in Management worldwide.

Its main assets are :

  • Up to 5 years of study abroad, on the Business School's campuses or in partner universities (over 200);
  • Immersive and gamified EdTech teaching methods;
  • Unique courses and projects to differentiate yourself: digital, entrepreneurial, sustainable;
  • 20 last-year specialisations, 10 of which are eligible for the PGE/MSc® double degree;
  • A leading position in work-study programmes with more than 2,000 students enrolled in the programme;
  • Rapid integration of graduates: 96% of active graduates have found their first job within 3 months and 50% hold an international position (2022 survey of MIM 2021 graduates).

Andrew Main Wilson, Chief Executive of the MBA Association and the Business Graduates Association (BGA) said:

I am delighted that EM Normandie has received accreditation for its Master in Management. The School is internationally recognised for its quality and is continually investing in its development. I look forward to working with EM Normandie.

The triple crown for EM Normandie

This triple accreditation attests to the excellence of EM Normandie according to very demanding international standards and reinforces its position among the elite of Business Schools worldwide. It contributes significantly to the School's reputation and attractiveness and enables it to strengthen the quality of the degrees awarded, to attract high-level professors-researchers and to develop new links with renowned international universities and companies.

The AMBA accreditation should also help EM Normandie gain points in the rankings, as most of them take into account the 3 major accreditations EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA.

We are very happy and proud to obtain this new international accreditation which underlines the academic excellence of the School, the quality of its research, its proximity to the professional world and its strong international outlook. I would like to warmly thank and congratulate the Faculty, our Alumni network, the Foundation and all the stakeholders of EM Normandie for their involvement in the acquisition of this sesame which brings us closer to our ambition of becoming the first world-class French post-baccalaureate teaching and research institution by 2030.

adds Élian Pilvin, Dean and Managing Director of EM Normandie Group
