This autumn, EM Normandie has inaugurated two research chairs : ‘Digital transformation management’ and ‘Entrepreneurial models for agriculture’.
Chairs are a place for meetings, surveys, expertise and exchange which allow lecturers-researchers to confront their academic knowledge with field realities, to develop new knowledge and to foster the evolution of practices in organisations and institutions.
To prepare for change and seize opportunities offered by the digital switch
Led by Dr Mathilde Aubry, Associate Professor in Economics at EM Normandie, the ‘Digital transformation management’ chair is sponsored by several long-standing partners: Crédit Agricole Normandie, Chalus Chegaray & Cie together with its subsidiaries, Colloquium and Cavas, the PTBG Group and Région Normandie. The TES Pole of Excellence is also backing this venture.
Agriculture: an innovative and enterprising sector
Led by Dr Roland Condor, an Associate Professor in Entrepreneurship at EM Normandie, the ‘Entrepreneurial models for agriculture’ chair aims at enriching farmers’ thoughts on their issues, helping them innovate and identifying new niches to guarantee the future and competitiveness of their farms.
The chair is sponsored by three organisations which are determined to contribute actively to the success of their customers: Cerfrance, an association and network of consultants and chartered accountants, Crédit Mutuel Normandie and Groupama Centre Manche. The Chambre Régionale d’Agriculture de Normandie is also backing this initiative.
In order to give the sponsored Chair food for thought and to contribute to disseminating farmers’ entrepreneurial and innovative spirits, EM Normandie will organise on Wednesday 16 January, on the Le Havre Campus, Agri-Exchange workshops. The sessions will run for 45 minutes each to take up without any taboo, issues such as the 2.0 Farmstead, methanation, phyto toxic-less farming, tomorrow’s consumption, city farming as well as a free topic suggested by the participants themselves.
