EM Normandie joins the D-Day celebrations with "Picnic for Peace"

School's life

75 years ago, the Allies landed on the coasts of Normandy, liberating France, Europe and the rest of the world from Nazi rule. These events, whose memory is still vivid in Normandy, have created a great need for peace.

This is why, in the wake of the Normandy World Peace Forum organised by the Normandy Region, Normandie Attractivité is celebrating this historic date, by proposing to all to join in it, through a picnic for peace.

A day to remember our heroes, a celebration of peace and freedom

EM Normandie, both faithful and proud of its Norman roots and deeply committed to the notions of peace and freedom that it wishes to share with its community, has chosen to support the Normandie Attractivité initiative by inviting its collaborators and students to this peace picnic. This convivial moment is intended to be a time of sharing that is both informal and unifying around universal and positive values, while respecting the memory of all those who fought for freedom.
