By decree of 18 April 2016 published in the Official Journal of the French Republic, the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research (MENESR) awarded EM Normandie accreditation as Etablissement d'Enseignement Supérieur Privé d'Intérêt Général (EESPIG) for 5 years.
In its report, the MENESR underlined the stability of the governance, the strength of the strategy and the quality of the Grande Ecole Programme (PGE), accredited at bac+5 (5-year degree) and awarding the ‘grade de Master'. They also pointed out the pedagogical innovation capability, in particular as regards La SmartEcole® and its digital learning ecosystem.
Also commended were the School's policy of social outreach and its involvement in several equal opportunity schemes, such as Passerelle Ascension Sociale, Passerelle Handicap, ‘Meilleurs Bacheliers‘, ‘ Cordées de la Réussite ‘ or ‘Cordées de l'Entrepreneuriat ‘. Likewise appreciated was the development of the Grande Ecole Programme's Cooperative Scheme with a twofold increase in two years (from 248 in 2013 to 466 in 2015).
The satisfactory graduate professional insertion ratio, the quality of research activities, and applied research in particular, and the international orientation were as many strong points that helped obtain the EESPIG status.
