The use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) among professionals has developed quickly: organisational structures, occupations and also relationships with stakeholders have been thoroughly modified. For the digital economy to remain synonymous with performance and competitiveness, it seems important to rethink global strategies, business models and work organisation and also customer relationships within companies.
Consequently, EM Normandie set up, through the Research Chair in «Digital Transformation Management » launched in december 2018, a group of experts from the world of both research and business to support firms in their digital transformation, in order for them to prepare for the new constraints imposed by digitalisation and for the new opportunities offered to them.
A Chair supported by local actors
Three patrons have decided to support the development of the chair: Crédit Agricole Normandie, the holding company Chalus Chegaray et Compagnie and its subsidiaries Colloquium and Cavas as well as the PTBG group. The TES competitiveness cluster, a reference in terms of innovation in high digital technology, and the Normandy Region are also partners of the Chair and invested in the various projects. Their presence is an additional asset for the development of the digital sector in Normandy territory.
