The Career Path provided me with personalised support and follow-up. This allowed me to more accurately define my skills and clarify my professional goals, so that I could make a greater impact during interviews. I found my Master’s 2 internship in marketing at Mondelez International during one of the School’s many recruitment events. Following this end-of-course internship, I was recruited as Assistant Brand Manager in the Milka Biscuits division.”
Professional events throughout the year
The Career Path organises numerous events throughout the year to immerse students in the world of business and provide more professional opportunities.
The Job Meetup
The Job Meetup is open to students on the Bachelor’s in International Management and the Master's in Management (Programme Grande Ecole), and provides the perfect opportunity to find an internship, work/study contract or job. Students can apply for any of the Career Path vacancies on offer. If selected, they have a short 15-minute interview in which to promote themselves. Every year, the event is attended by high-profile companies representing a wide range of industries.
Profession Workshops are networking events held on EM Normandie’s French campuses. The Workshops provide a relaxed and friendly environment in which graduates and professionals can chat with students about the realities of their professions, careers and businesses. Each Workshop focuses on a specific topic such as auditing, communications, marketing, human resources or logistics. They provide an opportunity for students to gain practical advice on how a particular company, profession or business sector works.
Preparing your entry into the business world
The ultimate goal of the Career Path and EM Normandie Experience is to enable you to embark on your professional career with confidence. The School offers end-of-course workshops where you can put into practice all of the soft skills you have learned, and learn how to promote your profile to future recruiters.
My Talent Review
My Talent Review is a collective internship viva, where you present the professional experience you have gained during your internship to a panel of examiners and students. Vivas are held in an informal environment with opportunity for discussion. The goal is to enable students to:
- Be able to concisely present their work experience
- Explore different business sectors and professions
- Be able to take a step back, review and give and accept feedback
