The EM Normandie Bachelor International Business
A Bachelor's degree in International Management is a generalist and specialised undergraduate business programme that integrates work-experience, a strong international and multicultural dimension and fosters the development of business skills which are essential in the professional world.
Build the leadership skills and essential business knowledge to become a manager in a company with an international outlook or to start your own business.
At EM Normandie, the Bachelor's degree takes place in three years (Year 1 admission) or in one year after two years of higher education (Year 3 admission).
The programme is based on concrete multi-disciplinary teaching and diversified experiences in companies (internships, work-study programmes, challenges...). It also allows students to develop a good general culture, business and management skills and to work in teams within the framework of associative life. In three years, become a middle manager highly valued by companies.
These two training courses share the same final objective: preparing students for management positions in the fields of business, marketing management, human resources management and finance in a globalised environment and in an intercultural context.
Bachelor of Business Administration degrees focus on preparing students for key positions within public, private, and nonprofit organisations by giving them solid foundations in the understanding of business. These undergraduate academic programs are offered by Business Schools or by Business Faculties in universities around the world. For example, most Bachelor's degree programmes are taught over 4 years in USA while they are generally taught over 3 years in Europe.
Usually half of the programme consists of general education classes, such as marketing, human resources, accounting, communication, finance and advanced business software. Many programmes incorporate training and practical experience, in the form of case studies, presentations, internships, industry visits and interaction with industry experts.
Career opportunities after a BBA exist in a variety of sectors including human resources, education, government, retail, private business and banking.
Bachelor in International Business programmes have a strong international orientation and focus on the professionalisation of students by integrating internships, practical work and case-studies focused on the world. Common concepts discussed in BIM programs include international trade, international marketing, cross-cultural business practice, marketing and business economics. Numerous specialisations and electives are available to allow students to specialise in several fields of their choice and thus distinguish themselves on the job market.
Enroll in a Bachelor International Management programme offers many advantages.
The programme is open to students under 22 years old holding or are in the process of validating a non-French Baccalaureate diploma, or equivalent. No English language test score is required for students holding a degree from an English-speaking university.
The programme is open to students having completed or are in the process of completing a degree equivalent to 2 years in Higher Education (or Bac+2).
An official English language certification will be required for students whose mother-tongue is not English, unless their medium of studies was English.
